I Can’t Control Them; But I Can Control Me

Opening Reflection:

The path to peace doesn’t start with changing others; it starts with mastering ourselves. People may lie on you, test your patience, or walk out on your life. That doesn’t mean you lose your light. God gave you the power to respond, not react. To lead, not follow. To rise, not retaliate. Stay on the righteous path and let your actions speak.

Affirmation of the Day:

“I control my response. I walk in integrity, even when others don’t. I honor God by protecting my peace.”

Scripture Connection:

“A person without self-control is like a city with broken-down walls.” – Proverbs 25:28 (NLT)

Call to Action:

When someone tests your patience today, pause before reacting. Choose your peace over proving your point. Write down one situation where you stayed calm this week, and celebrate that growth. You’re exactly where you need to be. Keep showing up.
